One of the toughest parts of the house to clean are the windows. That is the reaso why some hire cleaners to do the cleaning for them.  But if you are someone who likes to do it yourself here are some good tips. With the help of these tips you would surely do a good job in cleaning your windows.

One thing for sure is that cleaning windows takes a lot of your time.So you should provide a whole morning or afternoon when you are going to clean it. That way you won’t get frustrated on how long it is taking. Whenever I do a job doing San Diego window cleaning I always set aside several hours for each house.Since I am a professional window cleaner I know that it takes a lot of time.So I know that if a homeowner who does not do it all the time decides to clean windows it will definitely take a lot of his/her time.So one must be prepared in order for them to be not frustrated.

Next thing you want to make sure you have is a squeegee and a bucket.  Of course doing San Diego window washing I have a few extra tools but doing it yourself this should do.There are still people who use newspapers to dry their windows but it takes a lot of time.A squeegee can help cut that drying time.

Finally when you are using the squeegee make sure you always use downward strokes.  You would be surprised but I see clients of my Carlsbad window cleaning company who have done it themselves and didn’t do it like this.  What they ended up with were windows with plenty of streaks. When it takes you a long time to clean your windows you do not definitely want to end up having windows with streaks. It will just make your windows just as dirty before you cleaned it.So you will be just wasting your time if that happens.

So abide by these tips and it would reslut to clean windows. It will be a long hard job but once you finish it you should be proud of what you accomplished. If you don’t like it you may need to call a professional.
