Too many store owners spend so much time arranging the look of the inside of their store that they forget to give the front of it the attention that it deserves. Whether or not they decide to enter you store or not is partly down to what you are selling and partly down to how your storefront looks. - Give your current customers a reason to tell their friends about your store. It has been proven that the best kind of advertising that you can get is word of mouth. It is certainly worth focusing on because as well as being the best kind of advertising it is also the cheapest. You need to make sure that something about you or your is worthy of people mentioning to their friends or family. How? By treating every single customer with care and respect, however small their purchase may be. You would be surprised at just how many people someone will tell if you treat them well.

- Be sure to participate in community events and make yourself known in the community at large. Do not forget to donate to community causes like parades, celebrations and school fundraisers. By doing this you get your name out into the community and generate more advertising for your store. Community members will associate the name of your business with all of the good that you have done for the community and will come into your shop and spend money. This is an easy way to create profits.
