If you are looking for a self-employment opportunity, then online is the perfect place to start. You may not think you have the money or the expertise, but if you are good at your current job, you already have the ability, even if you are still under your employer’s thumb.

You will have to work at it, but you can start small and learn how to run an online business slowly. All you need to begin is a website and some products to sell. Teach yourself how to do search engine optimization and other online promotional jobs. Write your sales pitches out and use them on a blog and on your product description pages.

You will make mistakes, but don’t get disheartened. What else would you be doing at home in your spare time? Probably just watching TV or otherwise wasting time. Every hour spent working on your online business is another hour spent learning and growing. Stop daydreaming and get started!
