To endanger your life and others for an evening out is absolutely dumb and reckless apart from the certain fact that it is not lawful and if caught by law enforcement tests will be given to test your BAC.  Much research has been done on operating under the influence.  It’s a proved fact the bigger the blood alcohol level is, the bigger the possibilities of being involved in an accident are.  Studies have compared drivers who did not drink any alcohol with those that have and a BAC increase of just 0.02% can increase the chances of an accident by 1.4%.

With a BAC of only 0.02%, you could have impairments in your visible perception, reactions and processing information.  The movements of the eye become slower and steering also will be influenced.  Those impairments, mixed with less cognizance of the environment should be horrible enough to stop you from drinking and driving.  Once the BAC reaches an amount of 0.05%, then the impairments increase ; the possibility of an accident taking place while driving under this level of influence is 11.1%.

This is a significant risk and one you must consider thoroughly about taking.  Driving under the influence is a strategy of destroying and wasting your life.  You might imagine you are still in control of your body and actions, but nevertheless an accident can occur before you realize what’s going down.  However, the regret will last a life-time.  Enjoy yourself, but in a responsible demeanor and not by drinking and driving.  There’s a new device that may be installed in the car that reads your breath for its alcohol level and if it notes any it won’t start.  In some states it is being used for folks convicted of operating any sort of vehicle over the limit.  You cannot fool your car because authorities have taken all measures to make certain that it’ll only run if you’ve a BAC level in the limit.

Once the ignition interlock device notices that you have alcohol in your breath, then the ignition will straight away be disabled.  There is no point in making an attempt to find other method of going someplace since it’ll only cause more difficulty on your side.  States change in how they deal with offenders, eg this device.

When caught many times for DUI your car is’s confiscated where in others your license is deferred after the first offense as in the District of Columbia and twenty other states.  Suspensions can run from 60 days to six months depending on factors concerned.
