If we step back in time, say ten years ago, we all looked at our bathrooms and thought I need to update my bathroom, with these tired looking traditional taps and the old chipped metal bath. You say to yourself my bathroom needs the wow factor with stunning looking wall mounted taps and a pure white free standing bath with up to date modern gloss or patterned tiles. Then we move forward 10 years and we are back to where we started with those traditional style shower mixer taps and a cast metal bath with natural wall and floor tiles with a dusting of wooden features.

Why? Because we all know that back ten years ago we all had the rite idea about the look of our bathrooms but was some what missed placed. We did not have a creative thinking about the room or layout and the bathroom was squashed in and shabby looking, now with the help of modern cad systems we can place all those traditional style looks we had and make them into a serious wow factor bathroom. Today traditional style bathrooms out sell modern bathrooms again and again. Traditional style bathrooms are timeless and appeal to everyone. Where as an ultra modern bathroom can be cold and off putting.

Watch Grand Designs, how many bathrooms or kitchens for that matter have you seen and thought that’s not to my taste but when you see a traditional bathroom done in a modern way you think that’s nice.
